Camera Access

The App requires camera access to scan QR codes and barcodes. Images captured through the camera are processed locally on your device and are not stored or transmitted unless you explicitly choose to save them.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the collected information to:

Provide core scanning and QR/barcode generation functionality
Store your scan history, favorites, and created items locally on your device
Improve app performance and fix bugs
Provide customer support

ADVERTISING

Our App displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC. AdMob may collect and use certain information to show you personalized ads.

Information collected by Google AdMob may include:

Advertising ID (a user-resettable identifier for advertising purposes)
Device information (device model, operating system, IP address)
App usage data and interactions

FIREBASE ANALYTICS

We use Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how users interact with our App and to improve user experience.

Firebase Analytics may collect:

Firebase Analytics does NOT collect:

DATA STORAGE

All scanned codes, created QR codes, OCR results, templates, and favorites are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this data to our servers or any third parties.

PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED

The App requests the following permissions:

CAMERA: Required to scan QR codes and barcodes
INTERNET: Required to display advertisements and access web links from scanned codes
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to check internet connectivity
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: Allows you to select images containing QR codes from your gallery
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Used to save generated QR codes and export data (on older Android versions)
VIBRATE: Provides haptic feedback when scanning is successful
AD_ID: Used by advertising networks to display ads

DATA SHARING

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except:

With Google AdMob for displaying advertisements
With Google Firebase for analytics and app performance monitoring
When required by law or to protect our rights
With your explicit consent

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Delete your scan history, favorites, and created items at any time through the App
Opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings
Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Note:

This app works entirely offline. All scanning, OCR, and QR generation happens locally on your device. No data is transmitted to servers or collected by the developer.
