PERMISSIONS EXPLANATION

INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & READ_MEDIA_IMAGES

  • Purpose: To allow you to attach images from your device gallery to your notes
  • Data Access: Reads images you choose to attach to notes
  • Important: We only access images you explicitly select

RECORD_AUDIO

  • Purpose: To enable voice note recording features
  • Data Access: Records audio when you use the voice recording feature
  • Important: Audio is recorded only when you initiate recording and is stored locally on your device

 POST_NOTIFICATIONS

  • Purpose: To send you reminders and notifications for your notes
  • Data Access: Allows the app to display notifications

 USE_EXACT_ALARM

  • Purpose: To trigger reminders at the exact time you set
  • Data Access: Schedules alarms for note reminders

USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT

  • Purpose: To display full-screen reminders when your device is locked
  • Data Access: Shows reminder notifications in full-screen mode

WAKE_LOCK

  • Purpose: To ensure reminders work even when your device is in sleep mode
  • Data Access: Keeps the device awake temporarily to process reminders

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED

  • Purpose: To restore your scheduled reminders after device restart
  • Data Access: Receives notification when device boots up to reschedule alarms

USE_BIOMETRIC & USE_FINGERPRINT

  • Purpose: To secure your notes with fingerprint or face unlock
  • Data Access: Uses device biometric authentication (data stays on your device)
  • Important: Biometric data is never collected or transmitted; it uses your device's secure authentication system

  1. Your notes and app data remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app

  3. When you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is removed from your device
